I love to go on adventures. Whether it’s an international trip or going to a new coffee shop in town, putting myself out of my comfort zone is kind of enjoyable. But recently I got in the mindset that I couldn’t go on adventures without it being a big thing.
Last year I moved back to my home town for a variety of reasons, and in that move I felt stuck. I was back in a place that I knew so well, but was also unfamiliar with. But I had it in my mind that the new places weren’t places I’d want to go to, and the only way to explore was to get out of town. I bet you can guess how well that went…
Over the past few months I’ve gotten progressively more and more bored and annoyed with how I’ve been living my life. And instead of focusing on going on big adventures I’ve started trying to find the adventure in the every day. Stopping for coffee at a new shop? A mini adventure! Going to a new park to walk my dog? Mini adventure!
So, this is what I’ll be focusing on. Mini adventures and what I’m learning from them, along with other life style-y things. If you’ve loved my monthly playlist posts, don’t worry, I definitely won’t stop doing them! I’m looking to expand what I do and make myself a more active participant in what my goals are.
What I’m trying to say is get ready for bi-weekly adventure challenges in addition to whatever I want to talk about! I’m going to try to keep it to simple things that have minimal cost associated with them.
